John D. Matway, CCM

General Manager

John is responsible for the overall operation of the Club, with focus on membership, the Club dining and entertainment experience for members, outside events, facility management and financial management.  He has been at the Club for nine years.

He is a native of Michigan, and received his BSBA in 1987 from Central Michigan University, majoring in Hospitality Services Administration & Personnel Management.  John brings a broad club experience and his active involvement and continuing education with the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) to our Club.  He earned his original CCM Certification in 2003, and was recertified in 2008.

John also heads our Membership effort.
