Dining at a private club can’t be compared to a restaurant. You will be greeted by name. Your preferences will be remembered. Most important, you’ll be dining with friends new and old.
The Club is set up to satisfy a number of needs simultaneously, from the relaxed dining in the Men’s Locker Room, to the English pub feel of the Grille Room to the more formal Member’s Lounge overlooking the 18th green. In the summer, the porch opens, and it is everyone’s favorite “nearly alfresco” dining. Finally, during the summer, there is the snack bar, serving grills and sandwiches, and beverages, including beer to golfers, tennis players and pool goers.
The Club has a central meeting room, architecturally designed like the interior of a sailing vessel with large wood beams. It is used for parties, buffets, weddings, and other functions.
To accommodate members’ appetites and tastes, the kitchen serves:
- Sandwiches and bistro food.
- More elegant dinners, including traditional American, with some French and Italian cuisines.
- Daily specials, announced in advance, usually with a more international fare, or luxury foods like lobster.
- In addition, the Club has special dining events like wine dinners, themed dinners, buffets and brunches.
Our Chef and his staff make all food from scratch using the finest ingredients. Entertainment ranges from piano bar music to full bands. Members enjoy a variety of seasonal parties culminating in the formal and festive Holly Ball in early December.
The Club has an excellent wine cellar.
